  • graduated from Medical Faculty of J.E.Purkyne University in Brno in 1974, specialisation stomatology
  • he began to work as an assistant doctor in the Ist. department of stomatology of University Hospital in Brno, in the course of time he worked at the ward of oral and maxillofacial surgery, therapeutic dentistry and prothetics.
  • in 1977 he passed the first postgraduate degree in stomatology
  • he worked at the ward of oral and maxillofacial surgery in the Ist. department of stomatology, he went through professional training in general surgery, plastic surgery and ENT led by prof. Kufner and prof. Bilder
  • in 1983 he gained the final postgraduate diploma in oral and maxillofacial surgery
  • he worked as a head of maxillofacial surgery department, and later (until 1989) also as a deputy of the head in the I. department of stomatology
  • from 1989 til 1994 he worked in Kuwait, in Dental Centre in Al Amiri Hospital as a consultant of maxillofacial surgery
  • from 1994 til 1995 he was an assistant professor in the I.department of stomatology by Medical Faculty of Masaryk University in Brno
  • since 1995 he has been running a private clinic

Specialisation

  • during the years of practice he provided specialized surgical treatment as well as complex dental care of patients
  • in maxillofacial surgery he specialized in traumatology, preprosthetic and reconstructive surgery and maxillofacial deformities
  • during his stay abroad he worked as a member of international teams, he participated in conferences and gained experience in private medical sector
  • since 1995 he has concentrated on dental implantology and reconstruction of facial bone tissues as a part of complex surgical-prosthetic dental reconstructions
  • he is a member of Society for Maxillofacial Surgery and Implantology Club of Czech Republic

  • he started to work as an assistant doctor in private stomatological clinic
  • from 2002 to 2003 he worked as a dentist during the compulsory military service
  • currently he has been working under professional supervision in private clinic and he has been attending specialised courses to prepare himself for passing the exams and getting the licence
  • since 2005 he is a member of the Implantology Club of Czech Republic

  • he is studying intensively and he is getting experience in esthetic and therapeutic dentistry, endodontics and prosthetics
