Dental implantogy has developed enormously over the last 20 years and today it belongs to standard stomatological methods. The view on dental prosthetics has changed considerably and these days it is not exceptional that implants are becoming the method of first choice.

We need to respect three basic assumption to provide successful and quality implants:

  1. Overall health of the patient, finding out about illnesses that might complicate surgery and healing of the implant (diabetes mellitus, metabolism disorder, osteoporosis, immunity disorder, chemotherapy). The age of the patient is not crucial for the result of the operation, we operated on an eighty-year-old patient successfully. Smoking, however, decreases the body´s ability to accept the implant.
  2. The amount and quality of the bone.The implant is usually a screw or a cylinder which must be buried in the bone completely. If there is a lack of bone in the place of operation, we are able to sort the problem out by so-called augmentative operations (widening, moving or transplanting the bone, bioceramics, barrier membrane or sinus lift).
  3. Financing of the implant operation is the last important aspect of successful reconstruction. All the phases of the operation are financially demanding and time-consuming. Every client is informed about the operation plan and financial plan. We are able to make several versions of financing and the client can decide which of them would suit him/her best.
